Frank Eckert   Vernon




In 1910 Vernon precinct, Frank is widowed, 48, born in Germany.
In 1911 Frank Eckert was delinquent on taxes for improvements in the NW quarter of section 34, 2S 45W.

November 1911 "Frank Eckert of the Mount Hope neighborhood returned Sunday from the Greeley country where he had been working in the potato harvest. He reports the crop there very poor and that there are many fields that were not dug at all."

March 1912 "Frank Eckert of Vernon was a Wray visitor on Monday last."

Fred proved up 240 acres in section 34, 2S 45W in 1913.

Worley Davis proved up 320 acres in 33, 2S 45W in 1913, witnesses Jacob H Dilka, Andrew J. Wakefield, Otto W. Kohlman, Frederick F. Eckert, all of Vernon.



May 1917 "Frank Eckert, who was a resident of this county several years ago, but who is now located in the state of Arkansas, arrived in Wray Monday and is visiting old friends. At present Mr. Eckert is at the Will Emil home south of Vernon."

He might be the Fredrick F. Eckert in Willow Springs, Howell County, Missouri, 57, widowed, born in Germany, immigrating in 1884.

He's still in Howell County in 1930, 67, widowed, this time saying he immigrated in 1894.

Simply because he's in Vernon in the 1910 census, it's most likely that he's the one who homesteaded.

Frederick Frank Eckert was probated in 1938 Denver.

There was another Frank Eckert, in Washington County, Colorado in 1910, age 36 born in Russia, with Peter 75, Peter 46, Bessie 26, Hoama E. 7, and Eva 3.

Bessie March was in Lake County, Colorado in 1885, g 9.

In 1915, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eckert gave a cream ladle as a wedding gift to Earl Coulson and Alta Lucore twelve miles north of Arriba, Colorado. Eva, Bessie, and Maybell Eckert gave a pickle fork.

April 1921 Thurman items in the Akron, Colorado newspaper "There will be a social at Frank Eckert's Friday night."
They're in Merced County, California in 1930, Frank 56 born in Russia, Bessie 47 in Colorado. Eva 23 and Peter 17 in Colorado.

Frank A. Eckert 1874-1945 is buried in Merced, California # 87367699, with Bessie 1883-1935.
